Teaching is a very dedicated profession. A teacher’s performance is always determined by student’s results. A sincere teacher is focused about her or his students.
I still remember one of my favorite teacher in primary school wore makeup. She always had matching nail polish to her outfit. She looked different every day. Your students might like to see you a bit dressier with pretty eye shadows and girly things. May be if you wear no makeup, you would look like a scary object.
Of course teachers can wear makeup if they like, applied in a way that shouldn’t looked scream.
Remember the following tips:
- No bling! bling! sort of accessories, jewellery, outfits, shoes or glittery ,sparkly makeup.
- Don’t go for dark or bold makeup colors. Light and soft, well blended makeover remains better, Less is more here.
- Fresh face is a must. Use light amount of foundation, concealer or tinted moisturizer to overcome blemishes, dark eye circles and un-even skin tone. Take blotting papers with you to absorb excess oil on your face.
- Use blush in very light and softer shades. Light rosy pinks, peaches, apricot, pinkish beige will create healthy and fresh look on your face.
- Eye shadows should be in neutral colors, close to the lightest shade of your eye lid. Just one color is better to be applied on whole eye lid. Apply one or two coats of mascara with smooth finishing. Use brow pencil with light feathery strokes. Avoid making hard outline.
- Lipstick should be always in subtle shades which look well and natural in day timings. Light shades of pink, peach, coral and toffee look fabulous on everyone.
- Remember ! Your makeup become a second skin of your face. It should be well blended without any visible boundary on your face. So, keep it natural.
Look good ! Do good ! Have good !!!
